Women in Business speaker: Stephanie Schumacher

On October 5 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in FSB 1000, Miami alumna Stephanie Schumacher is coming to campus to speak about her experiences as a businesswoman.
Schumacher, who is the vice president of capital marketing at Macy’s, will focus her talk on a business style guide and how to succeed and be taken seriously as a woman in the workplace.
The talk is hosted by the student-run organization Miami University Women in Business, which seeks to enable and inspire women in their quest for business excellence.
“Because Miami is in the top 10 for producing the most Fortune 500 CEOs (and the school on the list to have the most female representation) we find this topic to be extremely significant to Farmer students and faculty,” said Andrea Nicholson, vice president of professional development for the Miami chapter of Women in Business.
